Hello! My name is Todd Weber and this blog is about the pursuit of Financial Independence and Philosophy.

First, I’m aggressively pursuing financial independence in order to live life on my own terms.

But I didn’t start seriously saving and investing until my 40s, when I left my former career. I started from virtually zero.

We’ve made good progress, but still have a long way to go. As I work to make up for lost time and opportunity, I write to help other late-starters do the same.

Second, I am a former Christian pastor who no longer believes in God. People around me still seem to value my perspective (whether they agree or not), so I write to refine and document my thoughts on atheism and faith. I hope it helps others who think on these important topics.
